Why did you decide to engage with the Enterprise programme “The Bumbles of Honeywood”?

As a school, we understood the importance of entrepreneurial skills and attributes for all our learners. We were eager to give pupils real life opportunities to be involved in a business.

The school has a long relationship working with Sue on a number of different local project to develop learner’s entrepreneurial skills for many years. As soon as we heard, Sue had a new project we were eager to be involved.

What do you see are the benefits of the children undertaking “The Bumbles of Honeywood” programme?

The Bumbles of Honeywood is an engaging package designed to instil and develop learner’s entrepreneurial attitudes in a fun and engaging manner. Curriculum for Wales is at the heart of this programme with activities linked to areas of learning experience (AoLEs) and the Four Purposes.

Throughout the programme different tasks / activities allow learners to develop and apply a number of different skills including Literacy, Numeracy, and DCF in a fun and inclusive manner.

The children really engaged with the video clips and also enjoyed the STEM linked activities the best. They are engaging and easy to deliver making the process of delivery easy for us as teachers and accessible to all students of varied abilities.

“The Bumbles of Honeywood is an engaging package designed to instil and develop learner’s entrepreneurial attitudes in a fun and engaging manner.
