This presentation outlines what makes a good friend. Highlighting the skills and qualities you need to be a kind and loving friend. Use this presentation to deliver the friendship hands challenge as well as the friendship brainstorming.

Print off a hand template for each pupil. The children should work in small groups passing the hands around the table. By the end each pupil will have a hand template full of positive things about them. This is a great reminder that they are amazing in lots of different ways.

Organise your very own 'I'm a celebrity' style class event. Encourage the children to be brave, try new things and not be afraid of the unknown. Encourage the children to create their own event, think about planning and advertising of this event.

After completing the activity sheet, see which of the skills the children picked out as most important. Use the 6 tasks in the presentation to challenge the children to put these skills to the test. See if they can understand the skills they wrote down and transfer them into being a real life Top Team!
